E-BIKES ARE MORE THAN A TREND
More and more people are becoming enthusiastic about bicycles with electrical support, the so-called e-bikes. But what are the reasons for this? On the one hand, many people avoid using conventional vehicles because the effort, especially on steep climbs, is simply too great. But an e-bike can help here. In addition, an e-bike means you can avoid using a car as a means of transport on your way to work or on a leisure trip. This creates a sustainable yet comfortable solution for getting around and getting to your destination easily. The topic of sustainability and environmental protection connects e-bikes and the Flatcube© , which was initially nominated for the German Sustainability Award this year and has now also been named a finalist. This was also used for everyone at the E-Bike World Cup
WHAT IS THE E-BIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR EVERYONE?
But what is the E-Bike World Cup for everyone? This world championship takes place annually in the summer and offers everyone, whether cyclist, professional or casual cyclist, the opportunity to take part and compete with others. This means you can push yourself to your sporting limits in a beautiful setting or enjoy the atmosphere of a competition. Participants also have the chance to find out about the latest trends in the e-bike sector and to get to know and test innovations. According to the motto “World Championship for everyone”, all age groups can compete in the “elite” and “everyone” areas. In the “everyone” category, the aim is to beat a defined time limit on a more pleasant route and thus win a medal. In the “Elite” rating class, however, the participants have to prove themselves on a demanding route with many uphill and downhill sections, with only the best of the respective age group being awarded prizes.
THE FLATCUBE© FROM BAS IS THE PERFECT ADDITION
The Flatcube© is a great addition for everyone, especially at an event like the E-Bike World Cup. On the one hand, it can be easily transported to events thanks to the folding mechanism. On the other hand, it offers a large advertising space and, last but not least, a comfortable seating area, which allows competitors and spectators to relax. The Flatcube© fits in seamlessly, especially in the area of sustainability, where e-bikes also play a major role. This is produced in Germany and consists of recycled PP plastic. Not least because of this, it was nominated for the Sustainability Prize 2022 and is now even in the final. At the E-Bike World Cup it was printed with the words “EVERYONE A WINNER” and a matching image, improving not only the appearance of the event but also the comfort of visitors and competitors.
THE E-BIKE WORLD CUP FOR EVERYONE ON THE 13TH AND 14TH. AUGUST IN ISCHGL
In 2021, this exact World Cup took place from the 13th to the 14th. August in Ischgl, Austria (seen in the aftermovie below). A total of 634 participants took part, with 104 world championship titles being awarded. With the support of the Mitterdorfer agency, the competitors had the opportunity to compete in the bright sunshine and win medals. In the “Elite” rating class, the best from the respective age groups received the world championship titles on the 32km long route with an altitude of over 1025 meters. The “everyone” category, on the other hand, produced 97 gold medalists over a distance of 24km and 693 meters in altitude. The event was rounded off by various e-bike wash & charge stations and e-bike check stations. There were also plenty of offers for new e-bikes, as well as comfortable seating options such as the Flatcube© from BAS-Innovation .
